The viewing location is open from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

This one-of-a-kind viewing location features 2 minutes and 33 seconds of totality, which, by the way, is one of the longest periods of totality in the entire nation.

One of the most important details about the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse is solar eclipse glasses. SolFest is selling solar eclipse glasses that will ensure viewers’ safety while wearing them. Why the Crane Trust?

We want to give you the best eclipse viewing possible. Because of the location of the Crane Trust to the centerline of the eclipse, you will witness one of the longest periods of totality in the nation. The Crane Trust protects over 10,000 acres of natural Nebraska habitat and is opening a portion of this land to the public to view the eclipse. Free from light pollution and set in a landscape unlike any other, you’ll have an incredible setting to witness this phenomenon.

We want to make this easy for you. Due to limited parking at the Crane Trust, we ask that you utilize the shuttle service from Hastings provided by SolFest. Shuttle information will be available closer to the event.

What can I bring?
